1984 Land Rover Series 3 (III)

Here offered for sale is something a little different for heel & toe cars. This is a 1984 Land Rover Series 3 presented in lovely condition with some desirable extras.

This particular example features the robust 2.3 litre diesel 4 cylinder engine, Fairey Overdrive, high and low ratio box, selectable 4 wheel drive, front discs brake conversion, parabolic springs, Pro Comp shocks and 4x recent General Grabber tyres.

This series 3 has been subject to a few recent tweaks and repairs including:

1. rear brakes stripped, replaced wheel cylinders, replaced master cylinder and bleed system. (Now stops pretty well for an old Landy)

2. Strip and repair throttle linkage and set vacuum valve linkage.

3. New battery

Presented in a solid blue, the bodywork is in honest, unrestored condition and has that quintessential old series Land-rover patina. The wheels have been freshly stripped, shot blasted and powder coated in the correct shade of white. The interior seats have recently been reupholstered and look very smart and tidy. The headlining was also done at the same time, again looks nice and tidy.

This is a rather splendid thing that would be good fun to use all year round. Whether that be trundling through green lanes or sauntering round the coastline.
